A lawn is a liability
Most backyards in America are liabilities, not assets. You mow the lawn, breathing in fumes; you buy pretty flowers to impress the neighbors and then stay inside in front of a screen. Why not put your yard to work for you?
Permaculture design for real backyards
We turn an ordinary suburban lot into a designed food forest — true-scale blueprints, a plant-by-plant plan, and a real budget. You pick the direction; we draw the property.

Most Americans are unhealthy, and the quality of what we eat makes an incredible difference to our vitality. The status quo American diet is a poor foundation. Growing real food is the most direct lever a household has. Not medical advice.
The average American city holds only about three days of food in its grocery stores. Just-in-time delivery is profitable, so resilience has to come from households. One backyard of nutritious food makes your family and community incrementally stronger.
Money can grow on trees — when it is a red-haven peach. Put part of your long-horizon savings into a tree that grows as you age and bears fruit through your graying years. A tree is an investment; fruit is the dividend. Not financial advice.
Delayed gratification, an honest understanding of cause and effect, and the plain truth that you reap what you sow — common-sense lessons that are not so common anymore.
Every property gets the same complete, consistent package:
Distinct, named philosophies for the same lot — each fully drawn, so you choose a direction instead of guessing.
Every plant drawn as a real-size circle on your survey plan, filterable by layer and by zone.
A short, human-readable note for each zone: what it must achieve and what to plant there.
Plant-by-plant costs, each line marked as a listed nursery price or a planning estimate.
Sun, wind, water and other external influences mapped for your specific lot and hardiness zone.
Project-specific sourcing notes mapped to the shared plant database, so you know where to ask.
Two ways to work with us. Final figures depend on lot complexity; these are the planning bands.
$350–650
You receive no one-on-one input. You fill in the guidance template and upload your photos and zone sketch yourself, and we run it through the design engine.
$900–1,500
We book an hour with you to talk through your needs, then fill in the template and the zone sketch together before the design is produced.
Prices are planning bands and exclude nursery stock, shipping and installation.
